The Good News of Jesus Christ
Dear Friend, I want to share the most important message you will ever hear. Life is full of uncertainties, but one thing is sure—one day, we will all stand before God. The question is, are you ready? Do you know for certain where you will spend eternity?
You might be wondering, "Why do I need salvation? I’m a good person." The truth is, no matter how good we try to be, we all fall short of God’s perfect standard. We have all done wrong in our lives—whether it’s lying, selfishness, or impure thoughts. Even one sin is enough to separate us from a holy and perfect God.
Why Do We Need Salvation? The Bible makes it clear:
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) That means every one of us is guilty before God. Because of our sin, we deserve the penalty—spiritual death and eternal separation from Him.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
The Bible warns that those who die in their sins will face eternal punishment in Hell. "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:15)
This is the bad news, but here’s the good news: God does not want us to remain in this lost condition. He made a way for us to be saved!
God’s Plan of Salvation Instead of leaving us in our sinful state, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to take the punishment we deserved.
"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8) Jesus willingly died on the cross, taking the full weight of our sin upon Himself. Three days later, He rose from the dead, proving His power over sin and death. Because of His sacrifice, we can be forgiven and receive eternal life.
Through faith in Jesus, not only are we saved from sin’s penalty, but we are also promised a home in Heaven with Him forever. "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you." (John 14:2)
Turning to Jesus in Repentance and Faith Salvation is not about religious rituals or good deeds—it’s about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. God calls us to repent, which is a change of heart that causes us to turn away from our present way of life and turn toward Him in faith.
"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out." (Acts 3:19)
"Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." (Acts 20:21) Repentance is not just feeling regret for our sins—it’s a change of heart that leads us to trust Christ fully as our Savior and Lord.
Through Jesus, we are not only forgiven, but we are also reconciled to God—our broken relationship with Him is restored. "And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:18)
How Can I Be Saved? God has made salvation simple. It’s not about working to earn His favor—it’s about believing in Jesus and calling on Him.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9) Salvation is a gift. You don’t have to clean up your life first—you just need to come to Jesus as you are and trust in Him alone.
If you believe that Jesus died for you and rose again, call on Him in prayer. The Bible promises:
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13) Talking to God is simple. You can pray in your own words, asking Him to forgive your sins and save you. He is listening and ready to receive you.
